If you have prediabetes (your sugar is high) this is your opportunity to prevent or delay the onset of type 2 diabetes. A trained Lifestyle Coach will help participants lose 5-7% of their body weight and increase their physical activity.
During this year-long National Diabetes Prevention Program, you’ll learn how to make small changes, like altering your diet and exercising more which can help to reverse prediabetes and prevent type 2 diabetes. You’ll read labels and make choices with the support of the Lifestyle Coach and the people in your group.
