WILC/PILS are consumer controlled nonresidential centers for independent living, which provides information and advocacy to persons with disabilities. In addition, WILC/PILS operates a Regional Resources Development Center for DOH Waiver Program (seven counties). The goal of this Program is to develop home and community-based services and supports needed by individuals and family members who experience a disability.
POSITION: Waiver: IT Support Worker
HOURS: Part-time, 14 hours bi- weekly
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Knowledge and experience in various systems and programs needed to successfully operate the RRDC
- Ensure cyber security is updated and maintained and HIPPA compliant
- Implement program recommendations and improvements
- Train staff in a group and individual setting as needed
- Input and convey data on behalf of NYSDOH
- Work collaboratively with NYSDOH staff in exchange of data and support of the RRDC data system
- Assist with preparation and submission of required reports/spreadsheets
- Develop internal tracking systems as needed
- Attend required meetings and conferences for DOH waiver
- Conduct any other duty as assigned by Lead RRDS/SR RRDS that will promote and enhance the development of the waiver in the Hudson Valley Region
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficiency in Cyber Security and Microsoft Office suite programs in Access database
- Demonstrated abilities in written and oral communication skills
- Sufficient IT experience
- Knowledge of various Programs and Systems to Operate a Program
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and insurance coverage
